Our long history represents a wealth of accumulated knowledge and experience in the field of mould modeling and manufacturing. We have faced complex problems and learned from each one, strengthening our skills and constantly improving our processes. This has made us a leader in the production of high-quality moulds and enabled us to earn the trust of our customers and business partners.

Our history and corporate values, such as trust, respect, listening, coherency and consistency, at Lanulfi are the foundation of our corporate culture. 1981

Beginning of activity

The Lanulfi company was founded in 1981 from the dream of brothers Lino and Ferdinando Lanulfi as a foundry modelling workshop.
For about ten years, the two brothers devoted themselves mainly to making models using all types of wood, resin and metal, applying the traditional concept of craftsmanship and reconciling it with continuous research and innovation in order to increase their competitiveness.
The strong inclination and motivation to learn new things, the investment in high-precision machinery, working in close synergy with the customer and the continuous search for the best materials to use led, over the years, to making not only wooden models, but also aluminium moulds.

1995

First CNC machine and first CAD software

In the 1990s, Lanulfi decided to change its business model by abandoning the foundry market to offer itself directly as a supplier of moulds, initially keeping the same materials (wood and similar) and later offering aluminium solutions. This marked a period of significant investments that allowed the company to always be at the forefront: it should be noted that Lanulfi Modelleria was the first company in Veneto to purchase a numerical control milling machine in 1993.

2000

New headquarters 3000 m2

With this investment, it was possible to expand the type of moulds and consequently incorporate new technologies such as thermoforming and rotational moulding that favour aluminium moulds. This choice was decisive in differentiating the proposal from the competition.
The choice was so successful that the company invested in a new 3000 m2 plant and the purchase of new machinery in 2001.

2007

Export start

With the advent of the new millennium, the company also began to explore new markets such as RIM/RTM and injection.

2010

Over the course of the following years, the company became a leading company in the automotive supersport sector, providing solutions for Europe’s most prestigious brands, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche, Audi and AMG. At the end of 2010, the automotive sector accounted for more than 50 per cent of Lanulfi’s turnover.

2018

Reorganisation of the machine park with the introduction of 4.0 technology begins

2019

The evolution of the automotive market, which according to Lanulfi’s forecasts would become more and more oriented towards steel moulds (*) determines the company’s decision to identify new markets that need aluminium moulds (currently its target markets) and also the desire to acquire in 2019 a company already present in the steel moulds sector.

(*) The increase in production volumes implies a shift from aluminium to steel technology.
